Laid back and relaxed
Beauty Bay’s annual summer party is an informal gathering hosted by the senior leadership team to deliver the future business strategy.
The event is designed to bring together 120 employees who separately work across two office floors with a relaxed main plenary immediately followed by three fun breakout sessions to reinforce key business values;
Communication, Innovation and Customer Focus.
Starting late in the afternoon, the summer vibe continues with casual food options served in a funky venue with a cool summer soundtrack and plenty of Prosecco for this fab crowd!
Meet & Potato took over all four floors of Yes Manchester, dressing the space with chic accessories to meet the client brief. Working to a colour palette made up of bright pink, sunset orange, sky blue and dazzling white our team installed stylish sofas, tropical plants, funky rugs, and colourful cushions to set the tone for the summer sessions.
Professional drummers welcomed guests into the bar for refreshments upon arrival before they moved into the pink room for a relaxed Q&A session with the ‘Big 4’ bosses.
Research shows that non-verbal communication is critical to the way we are perceived by others. Being consciously aware of what you outwardly communicate can dramatically improve your interpersonal skills. Our interactive workshop, hosted by body language expert, Laura helped the Beauty Bay team find their inner superhero and equipped them with skills they could put into practice immediately.
What does your body language say about you?
Lead by professional drummer Mark, this dynamic and energising experience begins with simple actions on a bongo drum. Then it slowly builds in tempo as the team gets into the rhythm, before ending with a rousing finale designed to raise the roof!
A bonding exercise, the workshop helps break down barriers, tap into core energies, reduce stress, and lift the spirits.
Dance to the beat of your own drum, don’t let anyone tell you it can’t be done!
Customer focus session
An ode to Ashleigh.
Using the power of song, teams explored characteristics of their key customer profile, Ashleigh in an interactive song writing workshop. Guided by the musical producers of ITV’s The Voice and The Classic Rock Show, our talented teams crafted pop versus to the tune of, Let it Be by The Beatles.
With a new found confidence in public performance the teams each took to the stage to belt out their verses in one amazing performance of, Ashleigh by Beauty Bay!
Sing it loud sister!
Work hard, play harder
With all three breakout sessions done and dusted, awards given, applause received, the Beauty Bay team was ready to party and trust us, these guys go hard!
Karaoke kings and queens took a chance on our lucky dip: Invited to pick a slice or an ice lolly USB from the mystery song box, then plugin and belt out their best rendition, Beauty bay brought their A-game!
With everything from Dolly Parton to disco, as the saying goes:
“It ain’t over till it’s over.”
